Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to The London Wedding Nanny website. By using this website or booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
About The London Wedding Nanny
The London Wedding Nanny provides professional wedding and event childcare services in London and surrounding areas.
Every wedding and family is different, so the exact childcare arrangements will be discussed and agreed with you before your booking is confirmed.
Enquiries & Bookings
Submitting an enquiry through this website does not constitute a confirmed booking.
All bookings are subject to availability and will only be confirmed once the agreed booking process has been completed and any required deposit has been received. Details including the date, location, hours of care, number and ages of children and any specific requirements will be agreed before the booking.
Deposits
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your Wedding or event date.
The amount of the deposit and payment details will be confirmed when your booking is arranged.
Your date cannot be guaranteed until the required deposit has been received.
Payment
The remaining balance of your booking must be paid no later than 4 weeks prior to your wedding or event date.
Bookings made within four weeks of your wedding or event date require payment in full at the time of booking.
Any additional agreed costs or additional childcare hours required on the day will be invoiced and charged separately.
Cancellations & Changes
If you need to cancel or make significant changes to your booking, please provide as much notice as possible.
Any cancellation charges or refunds will depend on the notice provided and the circumstances of the booking. The applicable cancellation arrangements will be confirmed as part of your booking.
Where possible, we will try to accommodate reasonable changes to dates, times, locations or childcare requirements, but changes are subject to availability and may result in an adjustment to the agreed fee.
If The London Wedding Nanny is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to illness or circumstances beyond reasonable control, every reasonable effort will be made to notify you as soon as possible and discuss suitable alternative arrangements. Where the service cannot be provided, any payment relating to services not provided will be refunded.
Illness
The health and wellbeing of all children in our care is extremely important.
Parents or guardians must inform The London Wedding Nanny of any illness, medical condition, allergy, medication or other health-related information that may affect their child while in our care.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue care if a child is considered too unwell to participate safely or if their illness may present a significant risk to other children or the childcare provider.
Parents or guardians must remain contactable during the booking in case they need to return to their child.
Childcare Ratios
The number of children that can be cared for will depend on their ages and individual needs. Appropriate adult-to- child ratios will be maintained to ensure that children can be cared for safely.
Additional children cannot be added to the booking on the day. This is to maintain appropriate childcare ratios, ensuring child safety.
Late Finishes & Additional Hours
Your booking will be based on agreed start and finish times.
We understand that wedding days do not always run exactly to schedule. If childcare is required beyond the agreed finish time, we will accommodate this where reasonably possible.
Additional time may be charged at the applicable hourly rate and will be payable following the event.
Parents or guardians should notify The London Wedding Nanny as soon as possible if they believe care will be required beyond the agreed finish time.
Emergencies
Parents or guardians must provide an appropriate contact number and remain contactable throughout the booking.
In the event of an accident, illness or emergency, reasonable steps will be taken to contact the child's parent or guardian immediately.
Where urgent medical attention is considered necessary and a parent or guardian cannot be reached quickly enough, appropriate emergency assistance may be sought in the best interests of the child.
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate information regarding medical conditions, allergies, medication and any other information that may be important in an emergency.
